The great outdoors
We provide a myriad of opportunities for Senior School students to participate in a wide range of recreational sporting activities. These sessions are designed for social interaction, learning and enjoyment, as well as, hopefully, to set a trend for an active life in the future. Trips related to the curriculum help to develop a student’s investigative skills and longer residential trips, in particular, encourage greater independence and self-reliance. For many BSP students, the trips they participate in are among the most formative, enriching and enjoyable aspects of their education with us.
As well as cultural and fieldwork trips in France and elsewhere, the School offers participation in The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Model United Nations (MUN), the UK Maths Challenge and outdoor activity weeks for the whole of Years 7, 8 and 9.
There is a rolling programme of lunchtime and after school clubs and societies, which change every term with a view to appealing to as many students pupls as possible. The activites programme is list of many of the clubs available this year.
