At Key Stage 1 the subjects are English, Mathematics and Science together with Information Communication Technology (ICT).   History, Geography, Design Technology, Art, Music and PE also play an important part in the children’s learning.

Building on their experiences from the early years, the further development of the basic skills of literacy and numeracy are taught through activities and practical involvement, leading to the acquisition of the key concepts.
